Eighteen months ago, I had my vanity remodelled in my ensuite. The new basin worked well – I could get my knees under the new basin, but I had trouble with the tap.

It was by chance I saw on Facebook an advert for a tap attachment, and it looked like it could improve the workings of my taps!

I did a bit of research, and no local plumbing equipment supplier had anything similar. I then looked at eBay and there were quite a few, most made with ABS (a type of hardened plastic). The one I chose is made of brass, at a cost of just under $22. The same manufacturer had an ABS version at about $13.00. The other ones available were all ABS and similar pricing.

The gadget makes using the tap easier – I can even get my mouth wet – I haven’t been able to do that for close to 20 years!

The gadget can rotate 360 degrees at the mount, on the side and at the outlet. The outlet also is changeable from normal to spray. I hope you find this helpful.

Attached are photos of a gadget I found on ebay.

It’s the first time since my accident that I’ve been able to rinse my mouth out without using a glass.

It’s made of brass
